It’s that time of the year when we revisit what worked and what didn’t. Before we start a new year, I want to share my biggest lesson in 2023.

I hope your year has been fantastic, just like mine. I hope you’ve achieved many dreams and learned to accomplish what has yet to happen.

Above all, 2023 was an intense year. I encountered numerous achievements, learnings, books, clients, friends, and fans. I have traveled more than 5 times, including 3 international ones. Besides, I witnessed my hometown soccer team becoming champions. I won an award, got nominated for others, attended many events, taught writing, wrote, edited, and inspired many people who, in turn, inspired me a lot.

In 12 months, under those circumstances, I saw a community forming around me. A group of strong people who know what they want and strive for daily development. We are not always right, but that’s not even the goal.

2023 biggest lesson

Some things could have been better. I learned some lessons. I’ll share with you the biggest lesson of the year for me:

If you want to live your dream life, you have to invest in your dream life.

By “invest,” I mean dedicate time to understand your industry, take courses, and pay for guidance from someone who has been through what you’re going through.

People build their legacies with people. As the poet said, no man is an island.

We need each other. I say this with an open heart. I asked for a lot of help in 2023, and I also helped a lot of people. I invested significantly in specialized guidance and was paid well to provide my guidance.

Your 2024 can be precisely how you want it to be. For that to happen, you must build the pillars that will lead you to fulfill your dreams.
